description abstract | This paper presents the studies carried out on twin floating models connected alongside with hinge connection in regular beam waves of different frequencies in a wave flume. The heave, roll and sway, normalized with the wave amplitude are reported for a single box, a single half-cylinder, twin boxes and twin half-cylinders. The effect of separation distance and stiffness of the connection on the response of the twin models are also reported. | |
