Abstract: A method is developed for estimating deflections in beams subjected to creep bending. Many structures which require lengthy calculations when solved by conventional methods can be analyzed easily by the present procedure. The method is illustrated by a series of examples. Both statically determinate and indeterminate cases are considered.
