description abstractEvidence is presented to the effect that general stress fields in the steady, gravity flow of frictional-cohesive solids in converging channels in plane strain and in axial symmetry approach geometrically similar radial stress fields in the region of the vertex. Radial stress fields were discussed in an earlier paper [1].
