| description abstract | A new numerical method has been developed to facilitate the use of unified constitutive equations in finite-element codes. The method has high stability, permits large time increments, and generally is noniterative. The method has been embedded in a subroutine package called NONSS which can readily link to finite element codes. This paper summarizes the method’s development and gives examples of its behavior for a variety of cases. | |
