    Abstract: A simple method based on analysis of experimental flammability limits data is described for the calculation of the lean and rich flammability limits in air of common gaseous fuels (e.g., hydrogen, carbon monoxide, ethylene and propane) with the addition of diluents (e.g., nitrogen, carbon dioxide and helium) and various combinations of their mixtures.
