description abstractResearch work on inter-zone convective heat transfer in buildings is reviewed and the parameters that govern this process are discussed. A limited comparison between the heat transfer rates calculated by existing correlations and those obtained in a full-scale test facility is presented. A number of research areas where more work is needed are identified.
