    Abstract: The problem of primary creep of an orthotropic thick-walled spherical shell under internal pressure has been analyzed in this paper. The creep stresses and strains have been calculated using a method of successive approximations. All results have been obtained in nondimensional form. Effect of anisotropy on stresses and strain rates is discussed.
