description abstractThe theory for elimination of the branching problem described in Part 1 is applied to the synthesis of spatial motion generators with at least one spheric joint. The techniques are illustrated with numerical examples of the synthesis of an RSSR-SC motion generator mechanism for three and four prescribed finitely separated positions, using methods developed earlier by the authors [2, 3].
