description abstractThe procedure used to obtain the general performance characteristics and design data of various nonvibratory feeders is described in detail for the case of the bladed-wheel hopper feeder. The results of the testing and analysis are summarized on data sheets similar to those contained in a handbook of feeding and orienting techniques for small parts that is currently being assembled at the University of Massachusetts.
