description abstractThe flank in multi-edge profiled cutters must be designed so that the profile geometry and the correct relief angle at every point of the cutting edge are preserved on repeated radial regrinding. The three-dimensional theory proposed for the problem was used in evaluating technological solutions for the design and production of the surface in question.
