    Abstract: Dynamic analysis of a railway track under moving vibratory masses is presented in this technical note. In such problems the critical velocity is an important parameter. This is influenced by the dynamical characteristics of the moving load. The track is modeled as an infinitely long Euler-Bernoulli beam on Winkler foundation.
