description abstractBased on the engineering-geological conditions and measured data of geostress in Cangling tunnel, each possible factor affecting the initial geostress field was discussed. On this basis, the established 3D simplified geological model of Cangling tunnel under individual effect of the factors was analyzed by FEM, and multivariate regression model between the actually measured and computed results of geostress was established. Through multivariate regression analysis, the optimum regression equation was established to obtain the rational distribution pattern of initial geostress field of Cangling tunnel. The regression equation of initial geostress field in Cangling tunnel was obtained by abovementioned method, and comparison between computed and measured geostress values of measuring points was performed. It is concluded that the geostress field of regression is reasonable, which can be used for design, construction of engineering practice.
