description abstract | For the further study of the lateral stability of semi-trailer train running along a curve, the virtual prototype of semitrailer train which has 21 degrees of freedom was fabricated with the theory of dynamics and the virtual prototype software ADAMS. The simulation results from steady-state steering tests and steering wheel angle step input tests were compared with the curves from the real vehicle tests for simulation model verification. The relations of the relative parameters with time of the semi-trailer train running along a curve under the ultimate condition were analyzed. At the same time the reason of the ultimate case was also researched. | |
