description abstract | Recently, most of the researcher studies mainly focused on the dynamic analysis of the simply supported box girders with corrugated steel webs. Little work about the dynamic analysis of the continuous box girders with corrugated steel webs was reported. Therefore, this paper is concerned with the dynamic analysis of the continuous box girders with corrugated steel webs. By establishing the three dimensional finite element model of the continuous box girders with corrugated steel webs, the natural frequencies and modal shapes are obtained. Variability of the FEA is demonstrated through comparison of experimental results for a large-scale specimen of a continuous box girder with corrugated steel webs. | |
