description abstractIn this paper, a simple numerical deterministic approach for the analysis of the dynamic reliability of structures under stationary random seismic action was proposed. The method was based on the general finite element model software for structure dynamic analysis. The numerical equivalent unit impulse function was used as the input seismic load. After the impulse response function of the structure was obtained, the transfer function between the random excitation and the response of the structure was adopted to calculate the mean square response and the peak response through Fourierism transform. With the proposed method, the dynamic reliability of the retaining structures is analyzed. The method for the calculation of structure aseismic reliability is summarized. The seismic reliability analysis flow is provided based on the maximum response analysis method, which can be a reference for the application of the reliability method in seismic design in the geotechnical field.
