    Abstract: Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and heavy metals are environmental concerns and must be removed to acceptable levels. This paper evaluates different flushing agents to enhance the remediation of soil contaminated with PAHs and heavy metals at a former manufactured gas plant site.
