description abstractThe definition of communication is stated as the basis for an analysis of four fundamentals of project management communications. The view‐point presented is that of the owner's representative in management of a construction project. The special nature of the resident engineer's problems in establishing and maintaining clear lines of communication with the other members of the project team and the public is also emphasized.
