description abstractRobotic systems are used increasingly to perform surgeries, especially laparoscopic surgeries. A robotic system eliminates many of the disadvantages of laparoscopic surgeries while preserving the advantages. It restores 3D vision, you don’t rely on someone else to hold a camera, and you get wristed instruments. Newdevelopments are creating systems that can be teleoperated, or which can be swallowed whole.
