Abstract: This paper examines the integration of labor and insurance laws in Jordan about the construction industry, focusing on the mechanisms that enhance safety and provide security for construction workers. By analyzing the Jordanian labor law and the compulsory insurance requirements under Jordanian insurance law, this study highlights the legal frameworks that mandate safety standards, insurance coverage, and worker protections. These laws interact to ensure that workers on construction sites are protected by a comprehensive set of legal protections for workers’ safety and well-being. This essay also deals with the responsibility of the contractor and contractor in the context of the legislation, its observance, and its effects on the welfare of workers and the integrity of projects. The impact of this integrated legislation will be assessed against the background of the recent changes and effective enforcement results, and recommendations will be made to strengthen the regulatory and legal environment to provide better protection for construction employees in Jordan.
