Abstract: Paper seems to be a promising building material. This article presents research on the mechanical parameters of selected paper-based products. Paper tubes, corrugated cardboard, and honeycomb panels were tested in some preliminary tests, in which basic material parameters, such as compressive, tensile, and flexural strengths, along with the modulus of elasticity were determined. The results were similar to those presented in the literature, which confirmed that these products can be applied to create building partitions. In the future, it is planned to create a small residential unit based on components made of paper-based elements; therefore, research was conducted.
