    Abstract: In order to study the combustion instability of solid rocket motors, the vibration-acoustic vibration-burning rate oscillation-thrust oscillation coupling system of solid rocket motors is analyzed. In this paper, a numerical model covering the pressure oscillation, combustion, pseudo-one-dimensional fluid field, and overall thrust is built. We investigate the thrust oscillation caused by projectile structure vibration and the response characteristics of thrust oscillation. By conducting a sine sweep test, we obtain the response function of thrust in relation to pressure oscillation. A physical experiment shows that the calculated frequency response function is consistent with the experimental results.
