description abstractThe paired and Welch's t-tests were used to determine if statistically significant differences exist between the predicted creep rupture life of single- and two-step aged wrought Haynes 282 nickel superalloy. Both tests indicated that there is no difference in the temperature range of 700–800 °C. These results provide a quantitative perspective to support the conclusions reached in previous publications that the creep rupture strengths of wrought single- and two-step aged Haynes 282 are very similar or the same. The lack of creep rupture data above 800 °C for two-step aged H282 precluded extending the statistical analysis above that temperature.
