    Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of data-driven urban management and its impact on upgradation of slums in Islamabad in the mediation of privacy and security concerns. The study was quantitative in nature, and the data were gathered from 301 personnel who were responsible for the planning of urban management. The structural equation modeling technique was utilized for analyzing the responses determining the mediation effect. It was found that privacy and security concerns partially mediate relationship among framing the future and upgradation of slums and evidence-based decisions and upgradation of slums. However, full mediation of privacy and security concerns the relationship of real-time urban management and upgradation of slums. The study focused on the upgradation of slums in Islamabad only, which restricts the results of this to one city. Moreover, the study has used quantitative design, which only provided numerical evidence of the impact rather than cause and detail of the issues
