| description abstract | Carbon-filler composite artificial timber was processed and characterized. With a small amount of epoxy binder, the flexural strength was ∼18 MPa. The binder dispersion was achieved through compaction self-assembly, aided by a diluent. The optimum filler material was amorphous graphite; the optimum binder content was ∼4% by weight. This study may pave the road to the development of carbon-based green construction materials. | |
