| description abstract | In May and June of 2020, the editors of Mechanical Engineering magazine convened a series of talks with experts from a range of engineering disciplines to explore these issues that are at the heart of the engineering response to COVID-19. The title of that series, Rebooting After the Pandemic, may have sounded a bit premature as many American states were grappling with a rising wave of infection in June.
