Abstract: Geoenvironmental problems, formed in the process of urbanization, cause potential risks to the urban security and sustainable development. Hence, it is of great significance to evaluate the urban geoenvironmental risk. Considering the city planning of the high-efficiency eco-economic zone in Weifang City, different types of functional zones are taken as evaluation units. Through analyzing present conditions and effects on anthropogenic activities of geoenvironmental problems (seawater intrusion, seismicity, active rupture storm surge, groundwater pollution, endemic diseases, and soil salinization), an urban geoenvironmental risk evaluation system of the single geoenvironmental problem is established, which is based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP)—composite index-product method. Then the comprehensive geoenvironmental risk of the study area is obtained. Results indicate that the area of the high-risk region is 549.58  km2, accounting for 11.05% of the total study area; the area of the medium-risk region is 530.60  km2, accounting for 10.67% of the total study area; the area of the lower risk region is 2,002.63  km2, accounting for 40.26% of the total study area; the area of the low-risk region is 1,891.29  km2, accounting for 38.02% of the total study area. Finally, the corresponding prevention and control suggestions are given.
