Abstract: A parameterization scheme is developed to predict the supersaturation and the first two moments of predominantly maritime nuclei distributions during the condensation phase. The supersaturation and mean droplet growth predicted through this parameterization agree very well with those computed from the explicit microphysical equations using 55 spectral intervals.
