| description abstract | The Construction Management and Engineering Division, within the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at North Dakota State University, recently conducted a search for a new director. The scope of this paper deals with the decision-making process concerning selection of the finalists for the position of director. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and the decision support software program Expert Choice were used to assist with the decision. The content of this paper describes how the methodology of AHP and Expert Choice was integrated into the overall decision-making process. | |
