| description abstract | An Eulerian model for dust transport in the atmosphere is designed, and a new parameterization scheme for dust uptake is developed. The model results are quantitatively compared with satellite observations for an intense dust transport event that occurred over the western Mediterranean in July 1985, showing a high degree of agreement. | |
