Abstract: A technique utilizing stereo-photogrammetry of neutrally buoyant bubbles in a tornado vortex chamber (TVC) is described. This technique is advantageous over others inasmuch as it is nonintrusive and does not require the compositing of many individual fixed-point velocity samples. A particular TVC experiment is used to demonstrate the technique.
