| description abstract | Forecasts issued to the public during the 10-year period 1966?75 by the National Weather Service Forecast Office, Louisville, Ky., are compared with guidance forecasts produced by the National Meteorological Center for the same location. There was little overall change in the quality of forecasts issued to the public, but the guidance forecasts have improved to the extent that they are new of a quality comparable to those issued to the Louisville public. | |
