Abstract: The typical weather record gives the impression of immutability in both time and space. This impression is reinforced by the apparent precision of its measure. Few adversary situations, in which the weather plays a significant part, can be unequivocally resolved by simply referring (and deferring) to the nearest ?official? weather record.
