    Abstract: The existence small-scale inhomogeneities in cumulus clouds leads to a reinterpretation of the experimental data on total water mixing ratio Q and wet equivalent potential temperature ?q. This reinterpretation indicates that the height of the level of entrained air may be sometimes overestimated.
