    Abstract: There is an increasing demand for jumbo sections and high-strength steel in the construction of modern high-rise buildings. However, there is a lack of knowledge of the behavior of this type of construction, especially under seismic loading. This paper describes experimental studies of reduced beam section connections using jumbo sections and high-strength steel. The steel selected is ASTM A572 Gr. 60 steel
