Abstract: Tests of clip angle connections are described in which a constant beam shear exists while reversed cyclic loading along the axis of the beam is applied. The connections retain their ductility and exhibit considerable reserve of strength after fifteen cycles of load at high load amplitudes. An estimate of the reserve strength, based on the tests, is given.
