ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

The Calculation of Deviation Angle in Axial-Flow Compressor Cascades
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The deviation angles of axial flow compressor cascades have been predicted by solving the Reynolds averaged fully turbulent Navier-Stokes equations. A finite element method has been used. To ...
A Blade-to-Blade Solution of the Flow in a Centrifugal Compressor Impeller with Splitters
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The matrix through flow analysis is used to predict the blade-to-blade flow in a centrifugal compressor impeller which contains splitters (half vanes). The presence of solid boundaries in the ...
CFD Modeling and LDA Measurements for the Air-Flow in an Aero Engine Front Bearing Chamber
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The continuous development of aero engines toward lighter but yet more compact designs, without decreasing their efficiency, has led to gradually increasing demands on the lubrication system, ...
