ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Mechanical Behavior of Recycled Polypropylene Composites Under Tensile, Bending, and Creep Loading: Experimental and Modeling
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: By the 2000/53/CE directive, the European Union leads to develop the recycling process industry, specially the plastic one, for end of life vehicles (ELV). To value these recycled materials by ...
Dynamic Mechanical Properties of PMMA/Organoclay Nanocomposite: Experiments and Modeling
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Similarly to unfilled polymers, the dynamic mechanical properties of polymer/organoclay nanocomposites are sensitive to frequency and temperature, as well as to clay concentration. Richeton et al. ...
Dynamic Compressive Behavior of a Melt Mixed Polypropylene/Organoclay Nanocomposites
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This work aims to investigate the dynamic behavior of polypropylene organoclay nanocomposites. The nanocomposite was obtained by mixing the polypropylene matrix with a masterbatch of polypropylene ...
