ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Further Dynamic Finite Element Analysis of the Tapered DCB Specimen
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A dynamic finite element code was used to compute the dynamic stress intensity factors and crack arrest stress intensity factor which are related to the crack run-arrest response in a tapered ...
Dynamic Finite Element Analyses of Two Compact Specimens
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: A dynamic finite element code was used to compute the dynamic stress intensity factors and crack arrest stress intensity factors which are related to the crack run-arrest responses in longitudinal ...
Low-Velocity Impact Response Characterization of a Hybrid Titanium Composite Laminate
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The low-velocity impact response of a hybrid titanium composite laminate, known as TiGr, was compared to that of graphite/epoxy composite. The TiGr material comprised of two outer plies of ...
