ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Analytic Methods for Stress Analysis of Two Dimensional Flat Anisotropic Plates With Notches: An Overview
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The anisotropy of composite plates often poses difficulties for stress field analysis in the presence of notches. The most common methods for these analyses are: (i) analytical means (AM), (ii) finite element analysis ...
Fatigue Damage Modeling Techniques for Textile Composites: Review and Comparison With Unidirectional Composite Modeling Techniques
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Composite structural parts have been successfully introduced in high performance industries. Nowadays, also lower performance, high volume production industries are looking for the application of composites in their products. ...
