ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Particular Solutions of a Two-Dimensional Infinite Wedge for Various Boundary Conditions With Weak Singularity
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The particular solutions of a two-dimensional infinite wedge for various boundary conditions with lnr weak singularity have been investigated in this paper. The relations of the weak singularities ...
Reflection and Transmission of Obliquely Incident Surface Waves by an Edge of a Quarter Space: Theory and Experiment
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The reflection and transmission of a plane time-harmonic surface wave which is obliquely incident on the edge of a quarter space is investigated theoretically, numerically, and experimentally. ...
Reflection and Transmission of Rayleigh Surface Waves by a Material Interphase
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Reflection and transmission of Rayleigh surface waves by a juncture normal to the free surface, between identical or different materials, has been investigated. The juncture, which may be an ...
