ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Flight and Propulsion Control Integration for Selected In-Flight Thrust Vectoring Modes
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The synthesis of a flight control system for an advanced air-superiority fighter equipped with jet flaps, and its flight simulator performance, is reported in this paper. Several control modes ...
Generation of Submicrometer Particles in Dry Sliding Contact
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The generation of submicrometer-sized particles during dry sliding between stainless steel surfaces is investigated by means of a laser spectrometer for particle counting and scanning tunnelling ...
Activation of Nanoflows for Fuel Cells
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Propagation of Rayleigh traveling waves from a gas on a nanotube surface activates a macroscopic flow of the gas (or gases) that depends critically on the atomic mass of the gas. Our molecular ...
