ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

A Quadratic Numerical Scheme for Fractional Optimal Control Problems
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper presents a quadratic numerical scheme for a class of fractional optimal control problems (FOCPs). The fractional derivative is described in the Caputo sense. The performance index of ...
Fractional Optimal Control of Continuum Systems
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper presents a formulation and a numerical scheme for fractional optimal control (FOC) of a class of continuum systems. The fractional derivative is defined in the Caputo sense. The ...
Fractional Optimal Control of a Distributed System Using Eigenfunctions
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper presents a formulation and a numerical scheme for fractional optimal control (FOC) for a class of distributed systems. The fractional derivative is defined in the Caputo sense. The ...
A Numerical Scheme for a Class of Parametric Problem of Fractional Variational Calculus
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: Fractional derivatives (FDs) or derivatives of arbitrary order have been used in many applications, and it is envisioned that in the future they will appear in many functional minimization ...
Numerical Scheme for the Solution of Fractional Differential Equations of Order Greater Than One
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper presents a numerical scheme for the solutions of Fractional Differential Equations (FDEs) of order α, 1<α<2 which have been expressed in terms of Caputo Fractional Derivative ...
