ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Experimental Investigation of Rotor-Stator Interaction in a Centrifugal Pump With Several Vaned Diffusers
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper describes an experimental investigation of rotor-stator interaction in a centrifugal pump with several vaned diffusers. Steady and unsteady diffuser vane pressure measurements were made ...
Rotor–Stator Interaction in a Diffuser Pump
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The interaction between impeller blades and diffuser vanes in a diffuser pump was investigated. Steady and unsteady pressure measurements were taken on the diffuser vanes, and the shroud wall ...
Blade Row Interaction in a Multistage Low-Pressure Turbine
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: The objective of this work was to enhance the understanding of unsteady flow phenomena in multistage low-pressure turbines. For this purpose, hot-film probe measurements were made downstream of ...
