ASME ( American Society of Mechanical Engineers )
Description: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that, in its own words, "promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach." ASME is thus an engineering society, a standards organization, a research and development organization, a lobbying organization, a provider of training and education, and a nonprofit organization. Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America, ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.

Behavior of a Self-Sustained Electromechanical Transducer and Routes to Chaos
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper studies the dynamics of a self-sustained electromechanical transducer. The stability of fixed points in the linear response is examined. Their local bifurcations are investigated and ...
Dynamics of a Quasiperiodically Forced Rayleigh Oscillator
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper studies the dynamics of a self-excited oscillator with two external periodic forces. Both the nonresonant and resonant states of the oscillator are considered. The hysteresis boundaries ...
Chaotic Synchronization in Ultra-Wide-Band Communication and Positioning Systems
Publisher: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Abstract: This paper investigates synchronization transitions in a system of coupled Rössler type nonidentical self-sustained chaotic oscillators. The interest in Rössler oscillators is due to their ...
