| description abstract | Design of high reliability nulcear components for use at elevated temperatures is considered. The design is related to the design of structures at lower temperatures and structures with lesser reliability requirements. The application of Design by Analysis is considered in some detail. It is concluded that procedures in addition to Design by Analysis are required for reliable results at elevated temperatures. Some approaches are suggested. | |
