description abstractAn approximate analysis of the magnetohydrodynamic flow between rotating disks shows that the torque of rotating disks is strongly affected by the wall conductance. Also, considering the application to a viscous coupler or a hydrostatic thrust bearing operating under the extreme temperature, the operating characteristics of such MHD devices are analyzed.
