| description abstract | With this issue, the Journal welcomes three new associate editors: Sotirios Natsiavas, Karl Grosh, and Buddy Clark. All three are well known to the vibration and acoustics community, and I appreciate their willingness to serve. Ray Han will have completed his second term at the end of 2003. I thank him for six years of excellent service to the Journal.
