description abstractThis paper reports a novel solid freeform fabrication process, Nanoparticle Additive Manufacturing (NAM), for dispersing nanoparticles into molten matrix for improved mechanical properties. In addition, it also presents the characterization of microstructure and hardness of the fabricated Ni-nanoparticles dispersed H13 steel gear-shaped molds.
