description abstractThe technical brief by Roache 1 presents seven criticisms of the correction factor verification method proposed by the authors and colleagues in 234. The authors acknowledge Dr. Roache’s careful review and insightful comments of our work. We have addressed Dr. Roache’s first criticism and revised the correction factor uncertainty estimates; however, we rebut the other criticisms.
