description abstractThis article reviews recent developments in the interaction between water waves, seabed, and coastal structures. The scope of the review covers theoretical approaches and physical modeling for the wave-induced soil response, wave damping, and sea floor instability around coastal structures. Important advances in this field of study are summarized and scope for future studies is suggested. There are 208 references cited in this review article.
